Risky Evil eXtinction?
Used when encountering Boadicea, Montezuma etc?

Rigorous Early eXpansion?
Build lots of cities, the Great Wall, and then hope that Copper or Iron pops up in your country?

Redundant Erroneous eXplanations?
What I guessed above is dumb?

Seriously, I see REX referred to a lot but couldn't find the definition after going back 5 pages.

Rapid Early Expansion

Ohh...I thought it was Religious Expansion...as in make sure all your cities get the State religion to maximize civics...I don't get a lot of the abbreviations used around here actually...I guess a lot and I think I'm getting them...is there a post with the civver's guide to abbreviations?

BtS=Beyond the Sword
UU = Unique Unit
UB = Unique Building
REX = the name of my dog ;)
etc...

REX is supposedly dead in Civ 4, due to the crippling maintenance costs. Ironically, it is still a valid premise; you just have to do a controlled REX with courthouses, etc. In the end more territory usually makes you the winner.

I suppose we could even say...

"The King is dead! Long live the King!"

:D
