enjoy

Is that the Age of empires clone, where they just changed the unit names and then pretended that it was a whole new game?

That is Force Commander, I would rather play AOE anyday then that game.Completely different game.I believe when it was released in Britain it had a different name then here in the states.
This game you have the whole galaxy to fight over with 200 planets.Put out by Lucas Arts.

No, that would be Star Wars: Galactic Battlegrounds. I know because my brother has it. Its sort of sad, they didn't even put any new programming in it.

Yep thats the one I was talking about but it does create the question, so what is Star Wars: Rebellion?

Apparently it's a strategy game far different from GB. Beingofone posted a link above, and the game actually looks pretty cool.

Since the only RTS game I have played besides Civ III is StarCraft, I would have to say it is.

Dell 19 i know many people hated that game. I for one liked it. Ohwell. But Red Alert and The original was awsome aswell. I liked all of them. And I'm actually thinking I may reinstall them all after this weekend. I'm off to Vancouver Island for the weekend.

Are you talking about Star War Galactic Battlegrounds or another Red Alert games. Since I like the Age of Empires game then I would have technically liked SWGB but I saw a demo where it was almost exactly the same so I dislike it because a new game should be a new game especially when the next AOE game was a true step forward.

The best RTS should be Dune II of course :)
On the other hand there'll be a murder if anybody dare to say any Westwood RTS game, excepted the legendary C&C1. All the other games (red alert, C&C 2, Generals etc...) especially red alert were incredibly too unbalanced. Are you surprised that any winner would choose russians? mmm... Blizzard has alwas done almost perfectly balanced games (SC, War3)

Whoops. I think i should have been a bit more clear. I was reffering to the post you made after mine about Tiberian Sun. I thought that game was pretty dern good. But many people hated it. But overall the C&C franchise is the best RTS i think. I also do like AOE mind you that game had a helluva hard campaign, AOE and AOK.

1.Starcraft:Brood War(started the revolution, great multiplayer)
2. Diablo II(great game!!)
3.Command and Conquer Generals(Very fun, hard)
4.Age of Empires (if you are in the mood for history, when I am i just play civ)
5.Warcraft

Tiberian Sun didn't live up to the hipe and whilst it was a good game it didn't really live up to my expectations...

I think #1 now would have to be Rise of Nations. It pretty much fixed everything that was wrong with AoE2 (like having to replant your farms every 5 freaking minutes) and added some cool new stuff that AoE2 didnt have, like national borders. Its a really sweet game.

I third that. I also agree about Rebellion being a great game, the only problem being the amount of time needed to get enough resources to build really big fleets. :(

And of course I have to mention Starcraft. :)

@GhengisK - C&C: Tiberium Dawn (the first one) was great...

And so was Red Alert, Tiberian Sun, and Red Alert 2 :p

@china444 - Generals was fun, but I hope you were kidding when you said it was very hard. That game was insanely easy when compared to the others (IMO).
