what is wrong with my game??

I bought Pirates awhile ago and just got around to installing it. When I first started up the game it stopped responding right as I started playing. When I finally got to the first town I realized my graphics were corrupt and when I try to load a game and when I am sailing it will sometimes give me the message below, does anyone know what is wrong if you do please help.
I have a brand -new computer with all the system requirements. :shakehead :shakehead

Ah..This exact same thing happened to me when I first got the game. Pirtates! requires a 3D graphics card, and it looks like your computer lacks this. I suggest that you go and get one, since Pirates! is a very fun game after your finally able to install it.
