What is your favorite terrain type?

I'd vote tundra as well as my first pick, jungle. Same reason: keeps city distribution from boring.

Just not in my back yard.

Deserts, since I have a thing for incense. Otherwise, bonus grasslands. Ideal - build my city on a hill with grasslands all around it. Ooooooh...

I love Mined Hills with iron. Bonus Grass with wheat. And Tundra.

THe only time i like tundra though is when i am on the coast with fishies and a whale. Along with some grassland behind me. I had a town in one game that was like this. I put forest on all the tundra tiles along with road. Mined 5 grass tiles and irrigated 4 grass tiles. Then worked like 3 fishs and 2 whales. I had that town crancking out 40 food and 200 spt in modernage. Without the tundra is would be down to about 150 spt.
