What may I do to use "Civ3Edit.app"???????

I put this app in the civ3 foulder like the intructions tell me to do.
But When I start with the game, I don't find, in the start menu, anything to edit the scenario or the maps!
And if I select the "Load scenario" I find a foulder with the name of "civ3Edit.app" but the file don't work?
What I have to do to use Civ3Edit?
Please tell me me what I have to do. thanks!

First off the Civ Editor is a stand alone application. You will not see an option to use it when you start up Civ3. You just double click on the Editor after placing it in your Civ3 Folder and it should start up just fine.

Second, Which OS are you using? The Editor only works on OS X. It will not function in OS 9.

Thanks, but I still have a problem.
When i dubble click on the civilization Edit, the program have an automatic closing.
What can I do?

1) Are you running Jaguar, or pre-Jaguar OS X?
2) Do you have the latest version of the editor?
The original file of the editor that was first put up for downloads wasn't compatible with pre-jaguar OSX Brad Oliver has since then put out 5 newer versions of the editor that allow pre-jaguar users to run the editor.
3) Does your system meet the minimum requirements?
