There have recently been requests for an old movies thread, so here it is. You can post any movie made before 1990. To get it started:

I recently watched the 1959 version of Ben Hur, starring most notably Charlton Heston, Haya Harareet, and Stephen Boyd. Nothing beats the chariot race!
 
Not currently watching them, but my two favorite old movies are Metropolis and Alexander Nevsky.

Not currently watching them, but my two favorite old movies are Metropolis and Alexander Nevsky.

Speaking of Fritz Lang, I just got his Die Nibelungen.

Speaking of Fritz Lang even further, saw M recently. A fantastic movie.
