My opinion (if this is being asked) is that it would be best to go at 80%, we need as much money as possible to upgrade, and two turns won't kill us, especially since we're about to be at peace with the nutters.

If were not going to be taking the military tradition path, should make a beeline for education to get our science in gear, following the truce with the iroqi we wont really be needing to make any form of attack for awhile for awhile therefore making this tech pointless other than for trades imo.

if we can get knights before D'Nuts get pikes, then we could rip them apart with mobile Knights and intimidating (and cheap) Immortals. i say go 90% science and try to get Chivalry, whether by ourselves or a trade with MIA.

Yes but even if we were to get chivalry before the iroqi get pikes then we would not be in a posistion to produce them on mass enough for them to have a large enough affect, where as we will be in a much ebtter posistion to make a war in the future.
