Ahab, The Pacific. This is a german band that plays "funeral doom" metal, which basically means that every song is a dirge. Their fresh debut album The Call of the Wretched Sea is, of course, a concept album entirely based on Moby Dick and is as slow and deep and crushing as if the weight of the world's oceans were piled onto the listener. Great stuff.
