We seem to be using the term "research" rather loosely in this thread. I don't know that this demogame has actually secured a tech by research more than once or twice in its history to date. More than likely we are just setting priorities for purchase.

Techs are much cheaper to buy (remember the math last turn chat?). Anyway, I think after sanitation, we should make for steam power/industiralization. If we choose to go to a democracy, we'll need Universal Suffrage for the war warriness.
