What We Know About Brave New World

King Solomon mines are a new Natural Wonder, yields 5 production

I think that it is actually 6 production, and there is a Lake Victoria with 6 food. These may just part of the Scramble for Africa scenario. The source also listed the Fountain of Youth which is from a different scenario.

The diplomat we already knew about.

There is a Carrier with 4 planes on one of his screenshots, and of the Bazooka with Movement 1 / 2, Strength 85, Ranged Attack 85.

The last two civilizations are confirmed:

The Shoshone
- Leader - Pocatello
- Capital - ?
- Unique Ability - Great Expanse - Founded cities start with additional territory; units receive a combat bonus when fighting within their own territory
- Unique Unit - Pathfinder - replaces Scout; explores like a scout and fights like a warrior; possesses a promotion that allows it to choose the benefit when uncovering an ancient ruin
- Unique Unit - Comanche Riders - replaces Cavalry; cheaper and faster than the base unit

Venice
- Leader - Enrico Dandolo
- Capital - Venice
- Unique Ability - Serenissima - Cannot gain settlers nor annex cities; double the normal number of trade routes available; a Merchant of Venice appears after researching Optics; may purchase in puppeted cities
- Unique Unit - Merchant of Venice - replaces Great Merchant; can purchase City-States bringing them under Venetian control as a Puppet
- Unique Unit - Great Galleass - replaces Galleass; stronger range attack; more resilient in battle; cost more than base unit

New Promotion:

Native Tongue - May choose benefit when uncovering ancient ruin

New Non-Unique Unit:

- Hand-Axe (Ancient era)

I examined the screens Snes linked and saw nothing about the carrier, bazooka or KSM.

So again: what is the source? By that I mean please provide a link...

There was a much larger selection of screenshots provided in a .rar. Most of them were the usual reviewer stuff, though there were some new bits. I uploaded the new civs but it would take too long for me to upload them all...

EDIT: here you go http://www.speedyshare.com/4MGMf/screenshots.rar

Ok the first post has been updated

By the way, about carriers: They have an upgrade that allows them extra slots:) I can say you can buy that upgrade twice, starting from first upgrade. I don't know about higher ranks.

Spoiler :
20130610155248.jpg

From this screenshot (polish interview) it seems that the rewards for world projects can give multiple silver and bronze rewards, depending on a production threshold rather than a rank. Presumably every player, not just the top 3, can get some reward. I think this is new info, but I could be wrong.

Also, interesting is that first place got all the rewards simultaneously.Thats pretty awesome for first place.

added Melbourne as a city state

I guess in all the commotion people forgot about the rest of the info Maelstrom provided:

Red Fort: Defensive Buildings in all cities are 25% more effective.

National Visitor's Center (hotel in all cities): 100% of culture from World Wonders, National Wonders, Improvements (Maoi, Chateu etc) added to tourism output of city. Tourism output from great works +100%.

Axeman (Called Hand-axe): I just saw one of these guys methinks. Civiped says they are Chariot Archer replacement (barb UU!). Yep, they attack from range. In fact, they cant melee. 9 Combat, 9 Ranged attack, 1 Range, 2 movement. Says it requires wheel and upgrade unit is Knight.

Bazooka: Requires Nuclear Fission, 85 Combat 85 Ranged, 1 Range, 2 movement. 251p or 500 f required to build.

Internet: Doubles Tourism output.

Lake Victoria: has 6 food

King Solomon's Mines: 6 Production

He also confirmed in a PM that Statue of Liberty is locked to Freedom.
