The Hot Dog
so far I have yet to meet one person who dislikes a hotdog (that dosen't Include Vegitarians, people who never had one, or people who are somehow disgusted by whats in them.)
I think you can tell a lot about someone by what they put on there dog.
me I like a heated bun with melted cheese all over it, the dog right on that and Ketsup on one side of it (hold the mustard) with chile to top it all off!
mabey a bit of relish somewere in there

so what do YOU put on your dog?

If you exclude practically all reasons for not likling them you will indeed have a hard time to meet someone who does not. ;)

I personally am not completely sure about the definition of a hotdog. I eat the sausage (the dog), but usually not in a bread with all the other stuff, but just the sausage with mustard or ketchup.

For the next two hours: Rice and tomatos, without the hotdog or the buns
Otherwise: Ketchup/humus and thina, fries and anything else I can find.

I like it grilled with cheese inside and bacon rolled around it, then put on ketchup, mustard (the norwegian kind, not the american kind, that tastes awful) and maybe some hotdog dressing, and perhaps some crisp onion (I don't know if that is what you call it in english, but in norwegian it is called sprø løk)

Just catsup. Catsup in cheese is absolutely disgusting to me.

just ketchup or chili w/ cheese, but I'll never mix the two

Mustard and saurkraut(spelling??)

Yummm....

Catsup shouldn't be put on hot dogs :(

Just Ketchup.

It depends upon my mood.

Either with cheese and beanless chili, or with ketchup, mustard, and relish.

Oh, and don't forget dicing up hotdogs and mixing them with baked beans. I like that too.

Im talking about people who eat a hot dog and don't like it. THE TASTE is the biggest real reason not to like something not I hate it because its a hot dog.

I have mine with chilli, melted or grated cheese, bacon, fried onion and mustard...

mmmmmmmmMMMMMMM!

What's the difference between CATSUP and KETCHUP?

I have NEVER in my life heard somebody say "catsup" yet I see it in print sometimes and about half the people here used that spelling/pronunciation in their posts.

Ketchup has tomato in it and Catsup has a tomato Imitation product, and since There are no tomato or tomato based products in Catsup they are legaly not allowed to spell it right.
just like Cheese and Cheeze.

First, I only use the big kosher dogs (the nine inchers that are an inch and a half across :)). After those are nicely grilled, I put them in the bun with thin slices of tomato, slivers of dill pickles, kosher salt, fresh ground black pepper, cheddar cheese, and deli mustard. Sometimes I'll throw a jalapeno on too.

Then either put it under the broiler or on the grill away from the flame untill the cheese melts.

Damn you! If it wasn't 2 in the morning right now, I'd go make one. But tomorrow...

Mustards. Sometimes I'll put several mustards on so I can enjoy the variations.
