I have an obsession with role playing which stretches down to the UU of certain players and I try to create through gameplay, nearly unbeatable units with a combo of social polices, religion, unique traits and promotions. I want to see what you guys come up with but here's my first example

An Ethiopian Mehal Sefari fighting in the jungle with level 3 Drill Promotion and a Woodsmen promotion who believes in a God of war pantheon and is a Defender of the faith. And oh by the way is standing behind the great wall.

I'm interested in seeing what combos you guys have made. Such as the Iroquois's UU, the Aztec Jaguar, or God help us the Keshik.

(one clause would be promotions should remain plausible like the combination of shock or drill promos a unit may have, or sheer level of experience one can expect in even the most violent game of civ)

In promotions there was a stealth bomber with air targetting and was damaging ships who attempted to attack a city. The city also had defender of the faith bonus so damage increased a lot.

Here is my list of promotion combos with UU's. Some I have made, others I would consider making if I get the opportunity:
- Impis with cover 2 and shock 3. Especially upgraded impis.
- Caroleans with first aid 2 and cover 2
- Any Incan unit with altitude training
- Kris swordsmen with march + invulnerability, standing next to a city with faith healers pantheon. Kris swordsmen with blitz and restlessness + siege.
- Keshik with just about every promotion. Mainly grabbing accuracy, then logistics, then range, then indirect fire (pre-BNW (and G&K as well?)), etc etc. Even bigger bonus if you're the Zulus and a militaristic CS gives you a keshik.
- Assyrian siege tower or hunnic ram with siege and, obviously, cover 2.
- Cossacks with charge. Do those promotions stack? 66% combat bonus against wounded units?
- Berber cavalry with charge. Provided that the enemy unit is damaged and assuming that berber cavalry has shock 2, that's a 113% combat bonus against a wounded unit on flat terrain in a desert. You'd be silly to put a citadel on a plain desert next to Morroco.
- American Flying Fortress with air repair and logistics, specializing in bombing cities (double combat bonus against them).
- Ottoman janissary with cover 2, first aid 2 and march.
- upgraded commanche rider given to Germany into panzer + blitzkrieg t2 autocracy tenet. Haven't tried the commanche rider part, but that should mean 7 or 8 movement and no ZoC penalty.
