What's the civilization you would most like to see in Civilization V

What's the civilization you would mostly like to see in Civilization V?

  • Total voters
    214
So, after 111 votes, this is the result:
(Only listing civs with 4 or more votes. When a grouped option is popular, I'm assuming which civs got enough votes based on the comments)

Code:
1.	[B]Indonesia[/B]	18 votes
2.	[B]Zulu[/B] 9 votes
3-4.	[B]Tibet[/B] 7 votes
3-4.	[B]Kongo[/B] 7 votes
5-7.	[B]Portugal[/B]	6 votes
5-7.	[B]Sioux[/B] 6 votes
5-7.	[B]Brazil[/B] 6 votes
8.	[B]Hungary[/B] 5 votes
9-12.	[B]Sumer[/B] 4 votes
9-12.	[B]Phoenicia[/B]	4 votes
9-12.	[B]Poland[/B] 4 votes
9-12.	[B]Vietnam[/B] 4 votes
So these are the top 12 civs' current order
I would have never thought, that any civ will lead this poll by that much
This is a clear sign how well would Indonsia sell in a DLC
Hear me, Firaxis? :mischief:

:agree::goodjob:
Totally agreed!

Actually all those 12 civs would sell fairly well IMO
Just compare it to the other poll's results:
1. Indonesia - 61 votes
2. Kongo - 51
3. Portugal - 50
4. Zulu - 49
5. Sumer - 43
6. Poland - 39
7. Brazil - 37
8. Sioux - 36
9. Tibet - 35
10. Hittite - 34
11. Morocco - 33
12. Khmer - 32
13. Zimbabwe - 30
14. Khazars - 28
15. Hungary - 24
16. Assyria - 23.5
16. Israel - 23.5
18. Vietnam - 22
19. Phoenicia - 21
20. Nubia - 20.5
21. Mali - 20

Hope they will include most of them sooner or later ;)

If they included Tibet in the game, they'd have to cut it for release in certain regions. :( Honestly, it'd make a pretty good DLC civ in that case.

certain regions
They don't have to cut it for release in "certain regions".
Certainly NOT in China.
Tibet was independent for more then 2000 years and is only a part of China because of the vile Mao Zedong.

Just got here from the other thread
What's the point of having two similar polls?
Anyway, voted on this one too

This poll is for the civilization you want the most. The other one is for all civilizations you'd like to see getting included.

Some civilizations are popular enough to be released as a stand-alone DLC. Others are somewhat popular, but perhaps it would be better if they were included in a expansion pack. I guess that's the idea.

Top civs:
Vote number: 142 (+31)

1. Indonesia: 20 (+2)
2. Portugal: 12 (+6)
3. Zulu: 11 (+2)
4. Hungary: 8 (+3)
5. Tibet: 8 (+1)
6. Sumer: 7 (+3)
7. Sioux: 7 (+1)
8. Brazil: 7 (+1)
9. Kongo: 7 (0)
All the other civs have less than 5 votes

China can get funny with these sorts of things, especially in media like film or gaming.

But China is negligable as far as sales goes. If Tibet is likely to swing more sales in NA or EU then in it shall go.

Only 13% of Civ's sales come from areas outside of the USA and Europe, and you can bet a large amount of them are South Korea, Japan and Australia.

Hmm, that's pretty interesting. 13% is way lower than I would have expected
How do you have access to these statistics?

Are you still tracking this? Well, the poll's still open so I'll post...
I voted Indonesia and I'm hoping they are one of the "last four" to make it into BNW. But they're really 3rd on my list. At #2, I'd rather have the Pueblo, but they're not on your poll and we believe they're ruled out of BNW (I didn't want to vote generic N. Am. native). At #1. the Minoan civ please! So, if your still tracking, xfer my Indonesia vote to Minoa, they deserve a shout out.

Yep, still tracking ;)
Planned to make an update on both poll results when the other poll reaches 400 votes

I'm a big supporter of Argentina as a civ, and I think that they'd be a worthy addition for a later expansion.
