$ What's the price of CIV III in your country$

In the State of Tennessee, in the United States of America

At Electronics Boutique

Base Price = $59.99

Base Price + State tax = $64. 94 US Dollars.

Thats about 44,000 Korean Dollars. hehehe.

Import(US) Version at release: 150 DM (70 US$)
English(UK) Version: 80 DM (37 US$)
German Version 70 DM (32 US$)

But it could be that the price of UK & German version are 10 DM higher each...
Well, I'll get the import one anyway. A lot of money for a lot of game ;)
:goodjob:

Le petit Prince, Buster Bunny: English is the only accepted language on these forums. Please take note of this from now on.

Back on topic: If there's no multiplayer coming with the game the price for me is going to be $0 (US). HEH HEH HEH.

LOL! **argh, on n'est pas supposé parlé en français, sinon le modérateur nous averti!!!!**

would translate: **argh, we are not supposed to speak french, or else the mod will tell us not to do that**

Why 0$ if no multiplayer? A bet?

HMMM...I knew I should've learned french. See! That's why we don't want it. As soon as I can't understand you you go off and talk behind my back. "Oh my god! Look at that mod's butt! It is so big, he looks like one of those rap guys girlfriends. Look at it. It just so big. It just like out there."

No multiplayer because of a bet...not exactly. I said I wouldn't buy civ III without MP; once MP is released I will buy it but untill then...;)

In Guatemala you could probablu get it for Q.550.00
That will be llike $70.00:mad:

FYI, The Korean currency is called the won. Anyways the price of Civ 3 in my country (Canada) Is $49.99 or if you pre-order I think it is $10 off, so $39.99. That works out to $32 US or $25.40 with the pre order. This is without taxes of course.
God damn that 14% Sales Tax in B.C.

To tell you the truth, I didn't ask the price....
But as long as it's not a three digit number, I'm happy (even then I might consider it).

I wonder why it's so much cheaper here in canada? I would have thought it would have been at least 70$ after tax.

Don't you have a good welfare at Canada? Money don't falls from the sky...:crazyeyes

Dunno which will be the price in my country but probably won't be more than 10000 PTE (Portuguese Escudos), that is 50 Euros that is at the current rate (0,92 dolars)...(My windows came without calculator:D )

yeah the state give us free health care and paid us a minimum level of life (maudit BS  ) bs but we have very high taxe rate here in the province of quebec we paid 15% of the prices of the products goes to the state ( and we got a 500 billion dept) 7% in the other province i think... se the state give with one hand and take with the others

to explain a little bit more the taxe rate on all of the products .....
if the cost of my new civ 3 is 100 $ on the label, i should pay 115$
at the cash register :(

Yeah, give with one hand, take with the other, then pay some civil officers too....

Welfare is good if you're getting it, not if you're paying for it... but anyways, at least CIV III is cheap around here.

Thanks for the heads up but I know what the Won is. I was stationed in South Korea for a year and a half. :)

When I went to pay my rent off post it looked like I had robbed a bank.

BusterBunny,

Why your signature is "Maudits Francais!" ?

The games price in France will be around $ 46 - $ 48.
All the games are at that price when they came out.

My signature is "Maudit français" (for my non-speaking friends, it means "d@mn French") because that's what everyone is saying about the French in Québec. But that's more of a sarcastic joke then anything else. I have three friends who have studied with me last year, and each time they do something either funny or stupid, I would come up with this "Maudit Français" expression.

Oh, and look for a song called "Maudit Français" on one of Michel Sardou's latest albulm... maybe you'll find it easier to understand :D
