What's your Civ3 eccentricity?

Ah, don't think we Minnesotans don't have a plan for the eventual invasion. The only hitch is that after Fargo no one can tell a true blue Minnesotan from a Mad Canuck so the military shut down the ammunitions plant and gave us all whiffle bats. The good new is that it will take us a while to kill you. The bad news is that it will take us a while to kill you.

I'm almost sure I should be offended by that...

Of course I could just burn down your White House the next time I find MacArthur (not Abe) in my game.

I played Civ3 the original some years ago and just a few games of PTW before coming back recently and now am playing my second game of Conquests which is actually a COTM.

I play by pacifist house rules which preclude attacking other civs and includes a long list of prohibited actions. The only win condition is score and I tend to play higher difficulty levels. Thus, its an edurance test and much different than the games most play.

I adopted this play style because the AI can't fight. This goes back to the experience with SMAC.

One by product of this play style is the experience of is having the AI declare war with vast stacks of modern armors only a few tiles from your core cities and watching dozens of steath bombers pound your prize cities.

Its just a different play experience from rushing over the globe with horsemen, swordsmen and knights.

No offense intended. If it makes you feel better, if/when war breaks out, we will first elimintate Wisconsin and make it our second core. There are so many cows there that we can make 2-3 settler factories no problem.

Burning down the White House isn't much of a threat these days. You may actually find yourself standing in line with your pitchfork and torch.
