I must confess to never having played Civ 1...but my friend always played Civ 2 and badgered me to buy it, though i waited till 3 till i lost my Civilisation virginity.

I started with CivIII on Christmas of 2001. My CivIII box came with (inside) a copy of CivII. I loved CivIII, however after experiencing CivIII I found CivII to be pretty boring (sorry all of you hard core CivII fans ).
