Civ 2. Played it for 5 years. Play Civ3. Civ2 is still the ultimate though (in my opinion..).

I played Civ1 back around 94/95, but skipped Civ2 (it looked stupid to me at the time, and I was WAY too busy with X-Com). Picked up the Collectors Edition of Civ3 when it came out, and am very happy with it.

Civ1 for me.

Didn't have a computer for the longest time after that. Then I got one back in 99 and got Civ2 right after that. Played that for a year or so, then got Civ3.

In between times I've played Diablo, Diablo2, SC, WC2, and Heavy Gear. Mostly Diablo2 tho.

Been playing mostly Civ3 since Feb 02, except for when I play GTA3 on the PS/2 and ST:EF on the PC.

I saw civ2 on a friends PC and I wanted to rush out and buy one but I didn't have the money to buy a computer.
Thats when I saw the playstation version so I brought a playstation so I could buy civ2 and play it.... Not your typical playstation game,

I voted CIVII (I played a couple of games), but I really started to get addicted with SMAC (Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri) of Firaxis.

A mate of mine got it for the PSX. I played for a while and liked it so i went out and bought for my PSX. Later on when i got a PC i bought it for that aswell.

I actually started with CTP2 and then went to CivIII. Discovered SMAC after that.

I got a copy of CivNET (Civ1 multiplayer) free on the first PC my parents bought, and played that to death, although I was never and good at it. It didn't come with a manual so I had no idea what I was doing.

Since than, I moved on to Civ2. I didn't get Civ3 until a friend bought a copy of PTW for me. What had I missed....

another Civ II starter here (still play it sometimes) back in 90's on a 486 (state of the art - or it was then for a week) - tried Call To Power / TOT /AlphaCEnt and didn't care for them much before getting CIv III then PTW.
