When do you start school?

So when do people at the CFC start school/collage/ect...?

Give the Month/Day/Grade you are going in....

Heres mine:

August 24th, 8th grade

Too soon. It's after August 25th, I know, because that's the day for testing out of classes. Other than that I'm in the dark, and would like to stay that way. I don't like to know when the year of boredom is going to start again.

[rant] High school for me is really a bad thing, since the entire school system is in my experience underfunded, the teachers underpaid, and the material several years out of date. College I look forward to, because that might hold some promise of actually learning something. In high school I'll just yawn my way through classes and not learn anything, college, now, there I might learn. But not in this high school. [/rant]

Also like Turner_727, I finished school in May of 89. My oldest kid though started this back this week ..the sixth grade. My other child has three years before "elementary school", but will be going into preschool this year.

We usually start at 11 September ( ). But now with the Olympics I heard that we will start 22 September ...

Not that good , as I'm going to the last grade of highschool and I'll have tough exams the summer ...
