When I hot-join a game, I will crash the game no matter what.

Please help me, any-time I try to hot-join a game, say if I'm the host and I crash, I load Civ V back up and try to Hot-join the game, but when I do I will always crash it, other people do not get this, they can join the game normally and not crash.

It's stressful, especially being one of the only people who has the ability to crash a game and ruin it for everyone.

I'll try to help post some information, but I'll need to know what to post.

So no one in Civ V MultiPlayer is getting this problem?

in your scenario the result is often a crash, former hosts have issues rejoining a game. in fact id say you should always completely rehost, and never hotjoin.

few things u can try though,
run civ dx11.exe as admin, checkbox in options
run in vista compatibility mode
dont ever have special chars in your windows user name (civ responds badly to this)
check your civ files on steam.
