When to build culture buildings?

ot - I just have tried to make some screenshots of my game in Civ5 using inbuilt windows SS and SnagIt, but they all are black. I need this to post some questions and add my piece in that thread.
I am using DX9 and 5450 superior DDR2, 40ROP, passive cooled GPU

Use your PrintScreen button, paste it into paint (it will auto-resize) and save as JPG then post it.

Thanks, but you do not understand. I am doing it exacly as you have described and every time I get a black picture. If I use SnagIt the result is the same.

I have gotten the same. I wanted to snap a shot of my nuke blowing the AI basically to smithereens, and all I get is black screen.

No need to use third party programs, steam has built in sceen capture. I think the default key is F12.

A lot of dx10 and dx11 games don't screenshot into paint, I only get black screens when I do that too. MSI afterburner is also free and has screen capture and video recording features, look for the latest beta version if you want to try it out.
