I found a YouTube channel called, "Suede CivIII." A great deal of fine basic info, and also quite a bit about multiplayer games. Some look as though they have some interesting twists which might be fun in solo play.

@SuedecivIII is also a CFC member, so if you're interested in his MP .biqs, you could ask him directly... ;)

Ozy, every biq can be played as a multiplayer biq by starting the game as a multiplayer game. There is nothing special in these biqs. The normal C3C multiplayer game can be played with up to 8 players and with the multiplayer tool created by Sima Qian with up to 31 players. With that tool even games started as single player games can be switched during the game to become multiplayer games.

The term "multiplayer biqs" in delimitation to the special "conquests" biqs in C3C created by Firaxis is not the best, as these "multiplayer biqs" in the scenario folder of the conquests expansion are quite normal biq-versions of the biqs in the conquests folder without the additional setting to become parts of a C3C campaign. Here I posted more about it.

I understood @Ozymandias was referring specifically to the .biq used by @SuedecivIII and his MP-team for the multiplayer games he's been streaming on YouTube for *checks upload-dates* the past couple of years.

I believe that .biq was originally based on the "QuickCiv" .biq included in the C3C "Civ-Content" menu, but Suede has tweaked it substantially — so if Ozy wants to play a game based on that .biq, he will need to get it directly from Suede.

Hey @jarred! how's tricks? I was coincidentally just today re-reading bits of our Spanish Cultural SG!

Thanks also for posting that link. I had a quick look, and it appears to be exactly what Ozy asked for in his OP.

I'm well! I had a bit of a wild ride through the pandemic, then I got a new job in fall 2021 only to have the lab go bankrupt this July :crazyeye: Now I'm running the chemistry stockroom at a University which is hopefully a Career-type job (And it only took a decade to find).
I haven't played too much civ lately, I have been able to submit some HoF games this year since I can pretty much play them with a one- track- mind and they go a little faster. Maybe if someone hosts an SG once your random game is completed I'd join up.

I think the steam group has a webpage too? Those folks are always playing games, but multi player is a different beast than the epic game because of the FAST pace. Maybe @Nathiri still comes around. They're really well informed about the steam community.

All the multiplayer biqs the civplayers group plays is on that drive linked except specific player variants, but the main one's recognized "officially" are there.
