Where do I see if the patch was installed?

Hi everybody

I have just installed Civ5 for the first time after it has been lying round because my old PC was too weak.

Have all the patches been installed at the same time or do I need to download and install them separately like in Civ4? Where can I see the version of my installed Civ5?

Steam keeps the game up-to-date, so you shouldn't have to worry about that.

But to be sure you can see the version number at the bottom in your main menu screen.
The version number should end in .332

Patches are downloaded and installed automatically by Steam. You can see the current version at the bottom of the title screen (the one with the main menu - where you can choose single player, multiplayer and so on).

Under the main menu of civ 5 you see the version number of it :

It should be 1.332 This is the newest patch..

To check if you have this patch: if you clock multiplayer there should be a option hotseat..

If you play single player germany should have barbarian bonus and maintanace bonus if he only has barbarian bonus then its not the newest patch...
