Where to put savegames?

I like to play the GotM games, just for fun more or less as I have never uploaded a save.

So I want to try out the GotM 6, but nowhere in your stickys can I find any info on where to put the save game, and I kinda forgot.

Can someone please tell me quick?

On my XP system, it goes in My Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 5\Saves\single\

Looks the same as Alan's.

Attach it to a post in the "After Action Report" thread.

That applies to the final save after you have completed the game. Please don't put the starting save there!

Since the OP mentioned he'd played the GOTM before, without uploading his final save, I took that to mean he already knew where to put the initial file and was asking where to upload the final save.

Well, the OP also stated that "nowhere in your stickys can I find any info on where to put the save game". The sticky game announcement post includes the following concerning the After Action thread: "Please also attach a .Civ5Save file made the turn after your victory or defeat (by using the "lemme play one more turn" feature, ...". I therefore assumed this was not the information he was looking for. However, between us we've covered both possibilities

Exactly. After all, it's better to give too much info than not enough.
