Well? Where's Yugoslavia? Are they just going to ignore their contributions to history like Tito or all that surplus ammo sportsmen enjoy??

Wait, I'm sorry, what did Tito do? I realise I may have started out with this post as a joke, but I am actually nervous, because if I know anything from Paradox's forums is that threads about Yugoslavia always ends in a lot of bickering about nationalism. You know the term, Balkanisation.
So in fairness, I'll give this poster the benefit of the doubt. Why should Yugoslavia be present when another of their choices should not? I am going with the idea that the developers are intentionally limiting themselves on amounts of Civs available in the first incarnation.

Outwitted! Also (in all seriousness), if they ever add Denmark to Civ, I am going to cry (I am Danish, btw), because that would only be humiliation.
I am not saying Denmark is a terrible country, but if you look back at our history, then basically since 1397 have only lost territory due to terrible monarchs. The only time Denmark actually made up for all its
ups was during the two world wars, where Denmark, relative to its size and population was the largest winner of both wars (economically and in contrast to that situation (e.g. Denmark being occupied during WW2)). And this is based on the decisions taken by Danish politicians, even if unpopular at the time (and some still see them as unpopular).Thank you for somehow reminding me about my country's failures.

Although I am someone whose family was born in Yugoslavia and I would find it awesome to play as Yugoslavia, I think that in the eyes of many people Yugoslavia is not a very important country in terms of wide historical impact. It only lasted for about 50 years and Tito was the main leader AFAIK. I'd be surprised if Civ ever included Yugoslavia, but it'd be super cool to have each unit speak a random Yugo-slavic language [not that many people would notice the difference 
]

I don't think anyone is truly ignorant enough to leave Sealand, with all it's historical significance, out of this game. I have surmised that the developers just take it for granted that the Player himself, is always playing as Sealand, selecting at the start the puppet for whatever meager "superpower" they currently wish to exert their boundless, unlimited power through.
At least I really hope this is the case, otherwise Firaxis needs to smarten up and find some developers that actually know a thing or two about history, and our world's greatest nation.
And if Yugoslavia were 1/10 as great as Sealand, I'm sure it's inclusion would be warranted. Sorry Yugoslavia.
