Aztecs, they had what is very likely the bloodiest religion in history, possibly sacrificiing up to 50,000 people per year at their various temples and festivals.

i mean like who ticks you off most in the game even though i have to agree............i'm in a war with them right now(theyre losing of course)

Zulu, Mongols and Germans can be annoying because they always come declaring war. Up side is, once you know this, you are prepared. And it gives you war happiness! Insult them once and they come declaring!
More annoying are the civs that always seem to good, especially those of the agricultural persuasion: Mayas, Iroquois, Celts, Sumerians. Or the civs that have a strong early UU: Persians, Iroquois, Celts, Romans, Greeks.

All three tend to self destruct this way. They're almost never the strongest Civs. And even if they last to the industrial/modern era with a respectable piece of land and military, the other civs with better traits will usually outperform and ultimately overpower them. Not to mention they probably get themselves intro trouble declaring on everyone at this point and not even their decent land and military will be able to save them from a dogpile.

Being Persia is good. Having them as opponents... bad. I also find the Militaristic tribes to be idiots, and the aggies can turn into runaways. If I am on an archipelago, the English always become a major Nemesis.

If you mean playing against, besides the Aztecs, the Indians are the ones the bug me the most. Even when their aggression level is 1 out of 5, the lowest possible, they are always declaring war on me the first time I say No to one of their demands, or try to make a trade with them.

The Civ I won't play is England. I just cannot make that Civ work and I haven't even tried the new and improved Civ Complete version.

Yes it is. but when I tried to type that it triggered some search and replace feature that I can't get rid of so I was hopping all over the page.
I Never play PTW. Did that once on Civ 1 and have never wanted to do so again from that day to this. I see those games and just don't see the charm.
The great thing about Civ 3 is that there is something for everyone.

When I started playing civ 3 (vanilla) I always played the Persians too!
It's the best way for not having to fight them!

I'm glad you like it darski. The full version of the screenshot is in this post. I had built a couple of Enkidu Warriors, and one was exploring the hills SE of Guimaraes when all the Portugese Warriors came streaming out in my direction. The explorer headed home, and I had about four Enkidus ready by the time they arrived. I've survived attacks of that type before, but not this time.

the germans ticked me off yesterday after i eliminated the aztecs.........the had 1 normal warrior that wouldnt die even when i sent veteran archers and spearman in groups of 3
