Which difficulty to choose?

Is there a diffulty setting in C2C that sets everybody on the "same-line" meaning AI dosen't get any "bonuses" to their production etc. All I want is the most difficult and cunning enemies, but at the same time I don't them have advantage over me in production etc. I'm currently playing a game on Deity, and just wow, boy do those AI just fly by me in everyfield.
 
AI always plays on Noble difficulty.

It is recommended to use the option "custom game" instead of "play now" when setting up a new game. That way you have many more options to customize the game rules to your likings.
 
I always start a custom game, but in my current game, which is on deity difficulty, the difference on how much faster the AI players are advancing compared to me is very obvious and bothers me a lot :crazyeye:. And no amount options changing is going to change the fact that the AIs are "cheating".
 
No their not "cheating". T-brd has worked hard on the AI making it better in many areas. It's just your pride is hurt cause you can't roll the AI like you used to.

Drop 2 levels if you want to play with less of a challenge.

Dont worry about score, in C2C it mean nothing. AI on the battlefield is really weak with no intelligence, around rennesaince you will feel like master of game(even on deity difficulty).

PS: You can change difficulty during game in bug option.

It's not like we don't know that the combat AI has severe deficiencies. Someday I'll get around to working on that directly.
