Which female FFH leader do you like the least?

yea i think so too... sorry about that.. if i had known then i wouldn't have made that comment

I think, more acurately, that she is based on his wife's player character in game. Teensy bit of a difference there ;)

Good point. *fear*

Mahala is named after my wifes level 60 Tauren warrior from World of Warcraft. The association doesn't go much deeper than that. My wife had more input on Os-Gabella who she thought should hate men and gave me the suggestion to have her give negative diplomacy to male leaders.

Actually I seriously dislike Keelyn, mostly because of the image , you know it is just .. too .. bad .. for my taste (i do not know how to express it better).
I mean a little girl, killing, blood all over little hands .. too much for me.

But certainly she makes a lot of sense game wise and gamewise Rhoanna seems to be to most expendable. she is not really serving a game twitching function. But then on the other hand .. I also would appreciate more female leaders, too

Keelyn is an interesting mix of cherubic innocence and sadistic torment. FfH is definitly Dark Fantasy and because of that we opt for flawed characters and malevolent themes. But I think there is some truth to Keelyn, she is every child whose manical raging and overwhelming peace can both exist in the same person, sometimes right next to each other. Given her environment and heredity her nature is even more understandable.

But yes, she is not a standard archetype and because of that her depravity can seem more unsettling than characters like hyborem, who we accept as evil. And the dicotomy of her personality makes her malevolence even more apparent. Truly a beautiful character.

It's the uniqueness of her character that I like- you don't often see such a wide shift in personalities.

But you do make a good point- why are we discussing removing a leader? Why not just add a new one? Granted I don't know what that would involve programatically.

Well the reason I was talking about replacing a leader is because there is someone I want to put into my game who is female and unless I put in an SDK change, the game will not recognize the leader I'm going to put in as female. That is why I would have to replace one of the female leaders that currently exist. The question is which one.

=/ I never saw Keelyn as really evil, just whimsically detached from reality, though no where near the extent that Perpentach is. From how I interpret her character, she is a genius compared to her old man and easily capable of grasping philosophic nuances. I personally would have given her a Neutral allignment though, maybe even her own strange civilization that broke off of Perpentach's own.

Well since this is the closest thing I have to a design thread I may as well use this thread to ask other questions that I have involving the leader I am making.

Here's a question I have for people who play FFH2 on Noble. Have you ever seen the AI on a continents map end up with a power rating that is near triple the second highest power? This AI was on a larger continent with more civs on it and everyone hates her but it just does not matter because she is just too powerful for anyone to try fighting. In fact all the wars have been started by her which may have been the key to her power. Is this normal or did I accidently create a monster?
