Which file to edit, to mod historical- and conquest- areas?

My google-fu isn't up to snuff, haven't been able to figure it out by messing with files thus far. Lovely to see not just the ever-creative Leoreth continuing this, but other folks submodding, would love to learn from y'all.

Data for historical areas are in the Assets/Maps/Settler, while conquest areas are in Assets/Maps/War.
