Wow. I thought that was him, but. Well, I tried to make some acceptable stills, but everytime I pasted them into paint they went completely black. A copy protection thing? Not sure. Bart said he scanned his own stills so there must be a way, maybe paint can't handle them. I had some nice hooterific stills too. If anyone else would like a go while I work out my technical difficulties, feel free, but I reserve the right to post hooters when I get them working.
If you want to capture stills from a DVD you need to use the DVD software to do it...something about the picture being sent straignt to the monitor or some sutch.
I use WinDVD4, which was pre-installed on my comp, but I assume most programs will do it...just mess around with the controls a bit.
I'm using the VLC media player, and I had the same problem as you Marsden (when pressing printscreen and pasting into Paint).
If you're using VLC too, pause the video at the right moment, select "video" then "snapshot". The snapshot is stored in the directory you choose(Preferences -> video -> video snapshot directory).
