Which system should I get?

PS3.

360 has hardware issues and it is put out by Microsoft....although, Sony isn't being such a good corporation lately with its RootKit CDs....

360's are generally replaced when they have a hardware issue though. It's a better console than the PS3 despite being Microslavesoft

I disagree on it being better. It has inferior tech, inferior media format, and is basically the myspace of online gaming. It is way not gaming.

But, I neither have the money for a PS3, nor the desire for any of the PS3 exclusive titles.

At present it has better games though, that counts for alot if that's what you're going for. Yes the PS3 has some good games but it's still lacking and it's big titles have all been delayed.

And on fear of sounding too fanboy-like, it has an inferior media format compared to blu-ray yes but if blu-ray fails then it's not going to be inferior anymore. At least the 360 has the option of keeping HD-DVD.

ARGH, I've fallen into a pool of fanboyism and can't get out!!!
