Reading the list, I really liked the Versailles choice. It was, and still is, a significant project and had a definitive legacy for French political influence. I am now surprised that it hasn't been in the game before.

It was in Civ4. Most, but not all, of the options in the poll are wonders that have appeared previously.

Fingals Cave.. On Staffa Island, off Mull.

I'd like to see tempory cultural wonders like the Olympics, Commonwealth Games, Highland Games etc and all the little holidays various nations have every year. Something which you'd build over time and then you'd get a little cheer and fireworks with when completed. And a ingame district to represent it whilst it's completed.

    *cough* Brandenburg *cough*

(I know now it is more of a monument than a gate (city has grown and walls are gone), but it was a Gate.

Ishtar gates have also a bigger possibility to be represented not just as a gate, as you can add the full ceremonial way (leading to the city). IMHO, they have not been represented in Civ yet, as they are replaced by the Gardens, which is a common mistake (the Hanging Gardens are not one of the 7 wonders of the ancient World, the actual babilonian wonder is the Wall and Ishtar Gates - or, depending on where you read it, the full city of Babylon).

It is tough to decide only 5. On the other hand for me others are easy to discard as - despite being a nice building - do not seem to have much historical significance or specific relevance over other buildings of the same tyipe (i.e CN tower, Neuschwanstein,...) However, some argument could be made they are indeed relevant by some ones who kown more about them.

Pearl of Adriatic Dubrovnik City as a whole with a boost for trade and later tourism from resorts. Just imagine this as a coastal title.

    Pls Firaxis

Why not nearby Split which is essentially a huge palace instead of adding a city as a wonder? Ragusa would make a nice CS.

Don‘t these threads usually get moved to Ideas & Suggestions pretty fast?

It‘s interesting that Macchu Picchu, which I am expecting them to implement this time in a more creative way (see: the Great Wall of China) and Borobodur (aren‘t there sufficient amount of religious wonders already?) are leading the vote. The rest is quite evenly distributed which seems normal for such a big variety and only 5 votes :) (why not 6 to bring it up to the clear number of 50? :))

Personally, I‘d rather want a few more Industrial or more moden wonders. And my other vote was for the ‚Gotthard Tunnel‘ making 1-2 mountain tiles passable for land units and making your trade routes a little bit better.

I was talking about specifically wonders in Civ6. Brandenburg isn't a wonder in Civ6 yet......

With Rise and Fall introducing amber as a resource I'd like to see a Mod wonder based on Jurassic Park. like have it require a bunch of amber and give a science and culture boost.

On that note, I have no idea how to mod that for myself so feel free to take that idea if you want.

I am going completely patriotic here and propose the Atomium. One of the most bizarre yet iconic landmarks that I can think of and would be a decent addition to the franchise, I think. :)

I just see King's Landing. Maybe it's just me. :mischief:
Anyway I voted for the obvious Macchu Picchu and Statue of Zeus which are actual wonders missing.
Notre Dame, the Great Mosque of Djenne, and the Globe Theater also.

It is a symbol for World's fairs and Science-minded progress, so I would vote for it!

This poll makes me realize how much more content VI could feasibly add. At the very least, from your list I think the game needs:
    • Borobudur
    • Brandenburg Gate
    • Globe Theatre (Shakespeare)
    • Great Mosque of Djenne
    • Himeji Castle
    • Itsukushima Shrine
    • Macchu Picchu
    • Neuschwanstein
    • Notre-Dame de Paris (literature is the death of architecture) (or Notre Dame de Chartres)
    • Pentagon
    • Porcelain Tower
    • Red Fort
    • St. Peter's Basilica (NOT Sistine Chapel again)
    • Statue of Zeus
    • University of Sankore
    • Versailles
    In addition to:
    • Nazca Lines
    • Moai (I don't want Rapa Nui being blobbed into a Polynesian civ this time)
    • Mount Rushmore
    • Three Gorges Dam
    • Crystal Palace
    • Vegas Strip
    • Akshardham
    • Bahai Terraces
    • Silicon Valley
    • Burj Khalifa (or a scaling "tallest tower" wonder that can be built multiple times)
    • CERN supercollider
    • FAST telescope
As well as others that would all be nice additions (in no particular order):
    • Laxminaryan Temple
    • Wudang
    • Dali Pagodas
    • Dungur/Barran Temple
    • Maha Bodhi Temple
    • Arg e Bam
    • Shwedagon Paya
    • Kailasa Temple
    • Abraj Al-Bait
    • Ranganatha/Brihadis Temple
    • Naqsh-e Jahan Square
    • Shalimar Gardens
    • Wat Asokoram
    • Golden Temple
    • Temple of Heaven
    • The Motherland Calls
    • Alcazar of Seville/Segovia
    • Oost-Indisch Huis
    • Antwerp Central Station
    • Lanterna di Genoa
    • Palace of Casserta
    • Sagrada Familia
    • Cahokia Mounds
    • Mesa Verde Cliff Palace
    • Palacio Barollo/Salvo
    • Casa Rosada
    • Dome of the Rock
    • Kaaba
Point being, is that there is still TONS of content Firaxis could add to VI just through wonders alone.
