While We Wait: Part 6

Oi! I was supposed to have invaded Dachs!

We get less international news, because the majority of the News in the world comes from within our own nation. Other news pops up very frequently if you switch between various news stations. American holidays are more important as our culture is everywhere and most nations understand the concept of a lot of our holidays. I rarely ever hear international awareness for Australian holidays.

Incidently I've always disappointed when Americans combine the 'leader of the free world' with the 'we don't need to know whats going on elsewhere' concepts. You should be more informed; its like the boss telling the rest of the plant about his personal life (via megaphone) whilst ignoring the workers telling him about the equipment breaking down...

Thats a very astute anaology.

In other news I need a Pope for my nes.

All of the funny stuff happens when I'm at my Microeconomics lectures.
Being too lazy to check, are there any good NESes open that's about the complexity of NES2 VI or so?
I wish.

I would refer you to the sunspot cycle and the fact that we're near the 11-year low in terms of activity.
Christ, you sound like a dead US Army colonel that Symphony and I know about. :p
What the fark?
If you say that in RL I will be extremely disappointed in you.

LittleBoots hasn't been around in awhile. Though it seems like whenever I mention Waugh or Brideshead Revisited he pops round to snipe at me about my quizbowl literature knowledge. Maybe that'll work.

Dachs, no bloody way do I say that in real life mate.... I just didnt want that to be censored by the family-friendly policies of this forum that I ever so loosely follow.

And while I would love LittleBoots to be the Pope I really need the Pope as he is integral to the Imperial elections process, and thus really needs a player.

Well, here's the current NESer map, a bit out of date, and missing a few people (Sheep, for example), but still a useful reference.

Spoiler :

If people want to get onto it, I'll happily add them.

You can add me on it. about 1 cm West of Brisbane in Australia.

We are selfish, devious, narcissist, self obsessed snobs that think that we are the center of the world's attention. Which you could say we are. :p

and we are just happy not to be you. sorry about that. oh, and sorry about having to be sorry ;)

Both me and fantasamo live in Brisbane, although I live to the NE of him, if that helps seperates us.

binyo66 lives somewhere in Indonesia.

The following things should be stated for the record: the only Aussie events I know the dates for are Labour Day on May 1, ANZAC Day on April 25 (by virtue of Sheep having clarified that), Remembrance Day on November 11, and Melbourne Cup Day on the first Tuesday in November. Also: I hate Amero-centric views, being as I am Euro-centric in outlook myself. Oh, and I hate American spellings. Look, dearest Americans, at the true spelling of words: labour, not labor, favourite, not favorite, colour, not color, and various things with an s, not a z (pronounced zed, not zee).

As a side-note, I'm also a little frightened by the fact that I've given Sheep a suburb in which to search for me.

Mate considering my grandmother lives in Mansfield, and I went to school at Mansfield High, oh and that I have many friends in Carindale, chances are that we have walked past each other numerous times and not noticed.

You guys still celebrate 9/11?

[sarcastic rant] Of course, us bloodthirsty foreigners delight whenever an American's blood is spilt. 9/11 is just like your Christmas in our unholy calander. We shall come and kill you in your sleep if you ever elect a Democrat... oh wait you just did.. Better start drinking coffee, if I was you then [/sarcastic rant]

If you dare come into the deep south you can certainly give it a try. :p

Well I am a big white boy that can act quite racist if I really want, so I am guessing I can fit in just fine for enough time to do it and then get back home. Of course I would be a nice guy arrange to meet ya and then suggest you take me for a tour of the local swamps or some . .. .. .. ..

Of course I wouldnt because that previous post was a sarcastic rant, but I didnt expect you to realise that my friend, after all you take things usually at face value and do not look to see the hidden values, its your most endering quality but one of your larger flaws.

I resent that. Not everyone is as big of a fool as the pair of you two. :p.
