Who else wants Civ II like wonder videos?

Man, I miss those. I think what I miss most is the music- they're each about 35 seconds long, but they seem to be a buildup to some awesome piece of music, whereas Civ IV's is just.. dissonant and unmemorable. I wouldn't mind a mix of the two in terms of approach, showing how it was built and then showing footage of the real thing and/or art of it, but really, get the music right!

And the High Council.. Man, good times. I loved hearing them bicker back and forth, and I missed them dearly; it seemed a bit lonely in comparison. It was sort of nice to have companions that would go with you through time. And if they bring back the throne room improvements, I can die happy.

Hm, I personally prefer those Civ4 style wonder videos. This is just becouse they fit much more to the timescale the Wonders get build within the game. In Civ4 all wonder videos are using all the same style, not different styles like Civ2's did. Following the links abouve, it looks like Civ2 was blending modern looking pictures and modern looking videos for ancient/medieval wonders. This is kinda displeasing to me. Why they show the ruins of the Oracle or Pyramids for example, when I just rear that building? Just my 2 ct's.

SMAC-like wonder videos. Actually, just make SMAC 2 already, we've waited long enough.

I also think they are better, but most of them could be about 5 / 10 seconds shorter.

Where do I vote to have the resources wasted on movies no one will watch a second time instead used to make the game better in some way?
