I have not been right one single time... so my vote is a death sentence for the civ to be chosen for the next preview ;)

I'll say Arabia.

I think it is pretty obvious that they are roughly going by actual RL importance when it comes to European civs - England, France, Germany, Spain. I'd say Russia is obviously next one. Others are less predictable, but I'd say Arabia or India will go next.

And I really think we will get one on Thursday. We didn't get two civs last couple of civs, since there were other media events, namely Gamescom and livestreams. It doesn't seems to be the case now, and they are also running out of time.

So I'd say Arabia (or India) tomorrow and Russia on Tuesday.

If we'll have 2 civs per week revealed from now on, the last civ will be revealed on Sep. 20, a month before release. Sounds like good timing.

I expect we'll start seeing more than one a week at some point, cause I think they'll want to have all these vids out with a bit of a window of time before release, so I wonder if we'll get another this week.

Regardless, I vote Russia, cause I want to see Russia so bad at this point.

Definitely. There are only 8 Tuesdays to go, so even if they release the last civ on 18 October, they have to give us more than one civ/leader on some weeks.

Edit: Actually if they keep it to one vanilla civ per week (so excluding DLC's Jadwiga and Isabella), and both Greek leaders are revealed simultaneously, that's exactly 8 reveals. Hmm...

Good timing or wishful thinking? :p

Civ5 leaders were revealed roughly by the same time.

I wouldn't say it's wishful thinking. Revealing 2 civilizations per week means there will be no other reveals, like game mechanic first looks or large developer let's plays. That would be not that great.

Both... I think that it would be a good thing to have then all announced by then. I figure that the game will go gold in early October (the first week). They will need to start burning discs for b&m stores and send out the review copies to the press so that reviews are hitting at release. I would imagine that it would be a good thing for all of the civs and most of the mechanics to be revealed by then.

I don't think it's wise to have any features not be revealed few days before the release, especially in an era where people get game early for preview purposes, I expect everything to be revealed at least 1week-1month before release.

Well... if Firaxis wants to have the opportunity to show off the full game to the press / YouTube streamers before launch to build additional hype they would need to have everything (civilization / leader wise) revealed before October. And the only way to do that is to double up on showing the First Look videos.

Why are there options for civs that have already been released as well as those we know won't be in the game due to the leaders leak.

Why is Denmark even in the poll? Harald Hardrada was never king of Denmark.

All of these are civs without First Looks

Jadwiga/Poland and Isabella/Spain are still in contention, but they are 100% DLC leaders.

i vote rome.

Not really expecting them. I just want to express my solidarity with the others. they had a few heavy setbacks.

I wouldn't say 100%. They are still speculated off of a very fuzzy picture. I'm sure that great care was taken to decipher the pictures and get it right. Nonetheless, it odds quite possible that those could have been mistaken. The odds that all of the pictures were correct are very high... Especially with most of the others guesses correctly (the only ones were the two that nobody could figure out).

All I am saying is guard your expectations and you lessen disappointment.
