Who you would like to BE in Civ3?

I misread the other thread this way and since random things aren't that random, here it is So, do you dream of being Napoleon yourself, or would it be vicious Samurai soldier instead?

The question is asked in a way when there is a modeled situation in the game, when you can choose who to be, yet unaware that someone is controlling you. Matrix style. Of course, modern armor army might be the most safe, but that's so few turns! What about cavalry who is useful centuries after thei inital discovery? Dream on, fellows

Seriously, historically lots of the great leaders in history came to untimely deaths, (Lincoln, Joan, Alexander) and living in the Ancient and Middle ages before plumbing, air conditioning and PC games was at best uncomfortable. I'd probably be a great wonder or the spaceship.

Nah, I'd be the settler who goes to Alpha Centauri in the spaceship victory!

Hmm, probably either King William of the Dutch, who was, in fact, assassinated, or a Crusader. When I was in high school, many years ago, a fair number of my friends thought that I was born in the wrong century or era. The general view was that I would have fit well in as either a Crusader, or on the Union side during the Civil War, as one of my ancestors was.

Might be slightly offtopic, but - if you believe in past lives, there may be the answer why you like Crusaders.
