Who's first on your hit list?

I find that if I don't take out Asoka out soon, or at least trim him back, he's a thorn in my side all game.

1. Isabella
2. Tokugawa
3. Montezuma
4. Alexander
5. Gengis Khan

In that order.

My list is identical but instead of Tok who I always am:lol:I attack Cat:nuke:

Napoleon and Isabella are the only two that I can't live with under any circumstances.

For me it's almost always about who's closest. I'm playing a game on noble right now and I'm going for conquest. Mansa and Cyrus were closest, but Toku and Izzy were the most powerful. I went for Mansu and Cyrus first, and now Izzy's on my north border so I'm going after her.

If I weren't so much more powerful than Toku (second strongest in the game) and Ghengis, I would've sent some pillagers their way to take out infrastructure and chip away at their forces. But there's no need for that as I'm way more powerful than both and the gap is only getting larger.

In a more peaceful game (space race or especially cultural), war is only fought defensively, pillage-style to set a rival back, or as a land grab against someone I know I can beat and who I know others don't like very much.

Saladin is another one I like to take out. He has an annoying habit of attacking me when he has nothing to gain...

1. first of all, I can't live under the same sky as Montezuma! he attacks me all the time. it doesn't matter if i give in to his demands, he declares war on me anyway. so he must be found and destroyed. (by the way, i feel like he is in EVERY single game of civIV that i play.. strange.)

2. next: find and neutralize Isabella. she's almost as untrustable as Montezuma.

3. Mansa Musa somehow always gets on my nerves, especially with all of his demands about conversion. he's number 3 on my hit list.

4. Catherine is either my best friend or my worst enemy. if i don't get along too well with her, she will declare war on me. she usually is my number 4.

5. everyone else.
