Why am i getting this error?

I downloaded the mod, installed it, installed Patch L and then i entered the game and loaded the mod, then i started a custom scenario. Up until then everthing was fine, but right when the scenario was aboot to start, i had a crash to desktop with the regular error message, you know: "Civilization IV: BTS has made an error and had to close...ect, ect."

I really think this mod is great and id really like to play it so any advice would be appreaciated.

BTW: Everything works out until i try to start a game, i can see all the changes in the civilopedia (or whatever)

It could be that you dont have BtS patch 3.13 installed. You also should be running custom scenario. There arent any scenarios in FfH2, try play now or custom game.

Quess what! I tought i was running the newest version, so when i read the mod description, i just skipped over the parts with the needed version, it showed out that i was only running ver. 3.03, so ill update and get ready to try out a sure-to-be great mod
