Why do people never stay long on multiplayer games

I like playing multiplyer games(even though I suck) because it is challenging playing against other people but nobdy stays on long enough

you can play ladder game, no one quit unless lost.

Half the time it's the game locking up or disconncting on people. It's happening to me and im still trying to solve it. The multiplay compatibility for this game is horrible.
