Why does everyone hate the Amurites?

I believe Opera was doing something along these lines for Orbis. Such as Faeryl and Arendel (probably other Svart/Ljos leader combos too) have a diplomatic penalty with each other.

It was more than that - it was things like the Bannor hate the Clan and someone else etc. Maybe Kael could think about including a diplo penalty along that line (I assume they thought of that and dismissed it - I'm not sure why though )

While this idea should probably be included from a lore/RP perspective, it would limit variability between games. Essentially if you played the Bannor and the Clan were an AI civ in the game you could expect that war would always be the inevitable outcome. Perhaps it should be included as a custom option.

I hate how she based her values on the scenarios. Those are supposed to be one possible direction Erebus goes, with games you play being sort of parallel timelines. They have no influence on each other.

The AI uses the power graph to determine who is a good civ to attack. I wouldn't be surprised if the low strength of mass numbers of arcane units means the Amurites appear to the AI to be weaker than they really are.

I played one game as Amurites. The best is their palace. Fire, Body and Metamagic Mana? Wow, sounds like the beginning of a nasty story. Of cause this story take time to develop, but it gets pretty awesome at the end.

Alright, well I finally got a foothold this game. I started next to the Lurichip, who sent an undefended settler to build a city right next to my empire, around turn 65. I attacked him, and he responded by defending his city with a scout and casting his worldspell, so not only did I take his city but I got a nice +1 attack for my best warrior. I rushed for archery, then rolled all my warriors at him and took one of his cities, then made peace. Later I attacked him again, and took all but one of his cities. Soon I plan to wipe him out completely.
