The version of Paint I have on my computer right now is exactly the same as the Window's 95 version one. Why hasn't Microsoft done anything to improve the program? Even a little bit would help. For God sakes, they've improved on everything else, why not Paint.

Because paint is basically an absolutely no frills editor, that uses up nno memory.

Paint is indeed improved. Back then it can only read/write Bitmaps(BMP). Now it supports many other formats too.

Not to mention those bug fixes and security fixes ;P

Your lucky that Microsoft didn't remove features from Paint! I hear that they sometimes do just that!

You can use Serif PhotoPlus 6 (freeware) as a fine alternative. It feels right - like it bellongs on a MS Windows system, and is much like Adobe Photoshop.
