It's my first time playing, and I noticed that in my city screen, the tobacco tab is highlighted yellow. I'm not talking about the numbers in the box, I mean the whole box itself.

What does this mean?

Thanks for any input!

I would like to know this too....except for me it's guns and tools. I think I remember reading somewhere but I can't find anything.

This is a function of the Colony Governor. If you want to allow the Governor to emphasise production in one or more of your goods you can select them in the colony screen and those goods will be highlighted in yellow. It is not a very efficient way to run your economy though.

Thanks for the help! I don't recall enabling the Governor to try to do that, but at least I know what the yellow means now. Thanks!
