Why my civ5 runs on DX9?

I updated my civ5 with the 1.0.1.511 patch. I noticed it shold run on DX11, but in my civ5 screen appears "DX9" and i have diplomacy screen trouble.
i already checked my DX installed version and it is DX11.
Why civ5 runs on DX9?
How can i fix it?
