Fully agree! Counterspying is nice in the later stages of the game, but I cannot afford it in the mid-game. On the other hand, stealing techs and civics is fun to do...And every 2 or 3 turns, a spy steals tech or dogmas...
You can turn the natural disaster setting to "light" if it bothers you. I like it on the maximum setting.Every 2 or 3 turns, volcanoes, floods...

Really need an auto repair feature thoughDon't really bother me...I repair and move on. You get good yields too.
I've kept the Disaster Setting on light while I am learning all the ins and outs of the game, and I still have seen the same volcano erupt or the same river flood 3 turns in a row. That might be purely random, but it's still another of many things in Civ VII that are Annoying As H**l.You can turn the natural disaster setting to "light" if it bothers you.
