Wierd Bug

When i play civ 4 in the game this is how the characters are shown in all their blandness and the trees just show a little square on the ground idk what the hell it is plus when i minimize the game then bring it back up it like shows their true color for about 1/4 of a second then the bland layers overlap them..... heres a pic

oh yea i have all patches and system defults on i run a radeon 9800pro 256mb grfx card 1gb ram 3.1ghz pent 4 etc.. so should be no problem..

Your system specs are fine to run the game although your pagefile is kind of high (make sure to close all background services). I'm thinking you are having a problem with your videocard. Clean out the case and make sure all the casefans are running as overheating can cause graphics anomalies. Your driver is dated 2003 so there should be a newer version available. Check ati.com for a newer version. If not you might try out an omega driver, people in other threads have reported results with these.
