Lucky you! I have Windows 8, there's no way for me to get WorldBuilder started, tried all the workarounds.
Windows 8 = pain in the arse, I wish I could get Windows XP back. Task manager always started up for me in Windows XP. In Windows 8 I often have to shut down my computer if I simply want to exit a program. Not only start buttons are missing, also stop buttons. If Windows made cars they would be cars without brakes and they'd be in the dock for genocide now!
Don't.... XP was good for it's time, but it is SO inferior to win7 these days. Yes in 2009 there were plenty of arguments to be made to stick to XP, but with 8-16gig ram, 64bit and dual screens these days, XP is just old. In my opinion, the only reason to go from 7 to 8 (on a desktop) is only if you actually prefer the interface or want to make use of the touch.
