When I say "fixed" I mean in the instances where the player is selling something to the AI for Tech or GPT and the AI loses it's port, airport or road to recieve the goods the hit goes against the players reputation and this shouldn't work this way.

Here's a good example I posted in another forum about this:

"Real life scenario, I am shipping a resource to you in exchange for money that you're paying me. You get into a war and lose your only port that I can ship my merchandise into. My boats are sitting in the harbor waiting to be unloaded but that can't happen because YOU had such a crappy defense that the port was captured in the first place. Is it MY fault that you can no longer recieve my shipments that I was, and am still, willing to give you in the first place? NO! It is YOUR FAULT for not protecting the port to begin with."

With the situation where it is now I know I routinely refuse to offer ANY trade deals to weak AI's because I don't want then to get into a war with another AI and *I* get blamed when the weaker AI loses it's port or road connection.

This would seem to be a simple fix where as if the trade route is broken through the actions of the player, i.e. cancelling the trade, declaring war (manual or auto from MPP/alliance), then things would apply as now but if it was an AI who broke the route the player wouldn't be charged with the diplomatic hit. I don't care if anyone got a rep hit as long as the player didn't (not trying to make an easy way to hurt the AI or anything.)

Can this be fixed for the expansion, so he player is no longer blamed for something they had NO control over?

I second that. If human player trades intensively through the game (and it's really inevitable on higher levels) it's very hard to maintain spotless reputation in modern times because of this annoying bug. Diplomatic win becomes hard and trading in general is seriously limited.
So many patches and still not fixed... I hope the expansion will address this!
