Will mods for FFH2 be incorporated into regular game?

Hey folks, I just got into FFH2 last week and I have to say, great work, Kael! I've been having a blast and have played about half the races so far (current fav is Malakim). I've been reading this forum and have seen several threads for mods for this mod (starting to get a bit recursive I think).

I have two questions: (1) How many people use the mods for FFH2 (blaze, Mania, etc.)? and (2) Will the features of these mods be approved and incorporated into the regular FFH2 releases?

Some features already have come from such modmods; see the 0.20 changelog for examples of items taken from Sureshots' and Maniacs' mods.
 
Yeah, we are shameless in our thievery. What the mods do really well is take the current version of FfH and really polish it up, fill in gaps and make that version the best it can be. We on the team are looking more at the end goal so we see 0.22 (for example) as a step toward that goal, not the end result.

Mod mods are also a great place to try out new stuff. Im not any more a gaming design expert than anyone else here and make my share of bad calls, its nice to have the mods to play with and try out to show us how cool some of these new ideas can be.
