Will you keep playing Rise and Fall or wait for the Gathering Storm?

Will you keep playing Civ 6/R & F?

Are you still playing the game? I still want to finish my Germany game, but I admit the new news has detracted me from my game. I still hope to finish my game today, however, and keep playing. But I admit it is difficult. After seeing geographical labels, I will want them in my game.

I stopped playing civ a while ago.
R+F was a good step into the right direction but somehow not the breakthru I had hoped for. Played it quite a bit nevertheless.
Now my hopes are high again!
Albeit many other posters I think this will be the final expansion and therefore will have a sense of "completeness" to me.
And I have tons of Civs I haven't even played yet... ;)

As with Civ 5, I'll keep playing until there's not enough time to complete a game before the expansion hits. I don't have a Civ problem. :mischief:

I've not really played the game in the last few months, to be honest. Hoping that'll change with Gathering Storm though, it looks absolutely amazing.

There are a few other games I plan to finish playing in the coming months, so I can give my full attention to Gathering Storm when it comes out.

I haven't played civ in while, but the announcement made me start a game yesterday. I'm not sure how much I'll play civ until release of GS. I guess a game here and there, taking turns with EUIV and CK2 games.

I am currently in a great game where I have managed to chain 3 Golden Ages in a row. I definitely want to see that one through to completion. Probably start a new game after that too, & try to make that one into a proper story.

I'll keep playing for a bit at least. But it will become less frequent and shorter sessions as we approach release, at least if I'm hyped.

I still have some multiplayer games going on

Try win with Vicky before they change her!
I played 3 deity games with her but I have moved the harbor to shipbuilding so I guess that counts as a mod.
The results were typical... once you are past about T30 you should win as long as you aim to win by T300. Just do not give up hope when you feel lost at T100 is the secret.
Won 2, lost one on about T25 to Catherine wasting be big time. Deity is a weird game, too bent for me but I was testing the harbour shift.
I just played on Prince and had a lovely game, I turned off all VC and played until I could nuke every capital and restricted myself to 10 cities and grew them very fat for fun and interest, to see and understand the value of doing so. When the gathering storm arrives fat cities will be more relevant I suspect because there will be so much damn floodplain.

The interesting thing is I am now playing with the new rules in mind... limiting chopping large areas (leave 1 tree in place).

not for awhile
BFV still could fill my appetite, and I'm planning to buy Forza Horizon 4 on holiday
definitely jump back to Civ VI on valentine's day, though

The announcement motivated to pick up Civ6 again, so yes. I'll churn out a few games before the expansion, it enhances the experience of the new mechanics after the release.

This is my second time playing R&F without mods tho.

I haven't played Civ in a while. Tried Endless Legend, gonna play a few more games of that, but I've been mostly playing Yakuza 0 (which won't last much longer), the Game of Thrones mod for CK2 and Slay the Spire. This expansion will get me back into Civ, I hope.
