I read a post somewhere on here about changing the ini file to allow civ 4 to run in a window. That works fine but the mouse pointer becomes un-aligned with what actually gets clicked on on the screen. I'm sure its something simple I'm doing wrong, maybe its the fact that I maximise the window once it has loaded, maybe I need to fore it to start filling the whole of my desktop screen resolution. If someone could help me with this It'd be great.
I was orginally going to post a thread about the game running and loading exceptionally slowly considering my machine's spec. But having read all the same problems posted by countless others I guess me mentioning it aswell would be a drop in the ocean. I have an Nvidia 6600 GT with the most up-to-date drivers (81.94 I think) and ample processer speed and ram. Fraxis really need to sort out a patch soon because this is ridiculous. Does anyone have any information on the progress of that patch?
Otherwise, fantastic game, love it... can't get my head around how this religion thing effects things much but I guess thats a topic for another post. This is getting a bit too long now so I'll just say that this forum is a really fantastically useful resource and in the face of such ineptitude of customer support its great to see people who guenuinely want to help.
