Windows Explorer Keeps Crashing

I've been forced to downgrade to Vista with the Windows 7 beta period up, and the problem I keep having is that Windows Explorer constantly crashes. I force Windows to close Explorer and then it restarts and I can use my taskbar again, but it's still incredibly annoying when I have to wait for it to restart and my clock freezes up - and it could be a sign of a bigger problem. Any ideas on why this is happening?

Could be a corrupted file in there someplace. Try using your windows cd in the fix mode.

A side question: Why'd you downgrade? If you have the beta you could have continued to use it until I believe March 2010.

My roommate's computer, about 2 or so feet away from me, is running perfectly fine with Windows 7 Release Candidate, idling away gobbling up electricity (>.>). So same question as Genocide.
